BEST RUM CAKE EVER!
1 or 2qts light or dark rum
1 cup of butter
2 tsp of sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup dried fruit
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
lemon juice
brown sugar
nuts
* Before you begin please sample the rum to check for quality. Good isnt it?!
* Now go ahead. Selecta large mixing bowl, measuring cup, and spoons. Check the rum again, it it must be just right. To be sure that the rum is of the highest quality, pour one level cup of rum into a glass and drink it as fast as you can. Repeat.
* With an electric mixer, beat 1 cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add 1tsp of thugar and beat again. Meanwhile, make doubly sure thatthe rum is at the finest quality. Try another cup. Open the second quart if necessary.
* Add two arge leggs, 2 flups cried druit and beat til high. If druit gets stuck in beaters, pry out with drewscriver. Sample the rum again, checking for tonscistically.
* Next sift 3 cups of pepper or salt ( it really doesnt matter ). Sample the rum again. sift 1/2 pint of lemon juice. Fold in chopped butter and your strained nuts. Add 1 babblespoon of brown thugar, or whatever colour you can find. mix well.
* Grease oven and turn cake pan to 350 degrees. Pour the whole mess into the coven and brake. Check rum level again and bo to bed!
